One of the spots that inspires me most is the beach, be it in Montauk or on the sands of Tel Aviv. The sound of the waves dancing to the shore and endless streaks of blue– it's soothes me most in this chaotic thing we call life. While I no longer live near the ocean (it was a good few months in South Beach) I'm always collecting giant sea shells and Roxy Surfer Girl posters to remind me of the good 'ol beachy life.
During a recent beach trip to the Hamptons, we were struck by the ultimate "beach souvenir", well not really, but an epic underwater photograph by Chris Leidy (featured in HB Home on Main Street in East Hampton). Since then, we've been obsessed with procuring a piece from his stunning ocean photography collection. Chris Leidy’s work is simply stunning. The undeniably cool underwater photographer, captures the beauty of ocean photography in its purest form and transforms this feeling of serenity and peace onto each and every one of his pieces.
